Dachazz Louy; The Prince of Middle Georgia R&B Music

Small town rising R&B singer Dachazz louy talks music with Rayven B. of the Six South.

Dachazz Louy a twenty-three-year-old R&B singer straight out of Fort Valley, Georgia. His passion for music began in his churches choir. Although, Dachazz wasn't fully into making music just yet, He had a love for sports especially basketball, but he was soon diagnosed with scoliosis (abnormal lateral curvature of the spin). This diagnosis kept him from perusing a career in sports. Therefore, Dachazz sought out something to replace the love he had for basketball, his searching lead him to turn to music. Over a course year Dachazz learned how to play the piano, learning this skill Dachazz knew he wanted to pursue a career in music. 

Dachazz said, "That every song I write has a story behind it, and songs without a story have no meaning." Dachazz expresses that his favorite part about music is performing live. When he's performing live he gets to interact with the audience and receive an overview of what they think of his music. Dachazz say's "My fans play a major role in my music career, which motivates me to keep going."

Dachazz's style of music is real smooth and what I like to call being a lady's man. During the interview I asked Dachazz, which aspect of being an independent artist and the music making process excites you most and which aspect discourages you most? Dachazz said an advantage of being an independent artist is that you don’t have to answer to anyone other than yourself. A disadvantage is not having the backing of mainstream media promoting your music to a wider audience. 

Advice that Dachazz would like to tell upcoming independent artist is "Know what you want for yourself and keep grinding, success doesn’t come over night."

Dachazz is what I call a rose that grew from concrete, and his music carries a different flavor and sound. Big things are in store for Dachazz Louy.
